Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Lead month-end and year-end processes, delivering accurate financial reporting, group consolidations and board reporting across a complex multi-entity environment.
- Partner with local and international stakeholders, acting as the key finance contact for Japanese stakeholders and providing clear financial insights and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis to drive informed business decision-making.
- Maintain compliance, governance and financial controls through statutory reporting, taxation, audit coordination and continuous process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:





- CA/CPA qualified accountant with experience in a multi-entity corporate accounting workplace.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting and forecasting.
- Sound understanding of IFRS/AASB standards, Australian tax legislation and GST compliance, supported by strong analytical and Excel skills.
