Benefits Competitive salary of 80,000 per annum plus super. Prospect for career growth Staff discounts on meals Work in a supportive team environment Task & responsibilities 1. Prepare and cook all dishes on the menu or willing to learn.
2. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. 3. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance. 4.
Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
5. Substitute or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. 6. Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly both in written form and through representations. 7. Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
8. Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks. 9. Excellent organisational skills. 10. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Qualification & experience Proven one year minimum experience as a Cook or in a similar role. Certificate IV in Kitchen management and Diploma of hospitality management. Knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Food safety certification is a plus
