This role is perfect for local people who enjoy hands‑on work and being part of a supportive team.
**What you’ll be doing:**
- Unloading boxes of produce including fruit, vegetables, frozen goods and pantry staples
- Sorting, organising and packing items into the Food Pantry
- Working alongside a small group of volunteers
- Helping ensure food is ready for community members who rely on our pantry each week
**What we’re looking for:**
- Ability to safely lift and carry boxes of food items
- Someone reliable,
punctual and happy to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to help the community
**Why volunteer with us:**
Your support directly helps local families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. You’ll be part of a welcoming, community‑focused organisation that values its volunteers.
