The Sample Production Coordinator is a mid-weight level role within the Production Team who supports the Production Manager and Garment Technician to coordinate samples with factories updating until ready for bulk production. Also responsible for sourcing fabrics, adhoc QC/QA work.

We are seeking a Sample Production Coordinator for an IMMEDIATE START.
Core Functions: (MAIN KPI’s)
1. Fabric Sourcing & Print Development - Responsible for collaborating and coordinating for the design and sales team to source fabric and print submissions with offshore suppliers with goals of assigning price pointed, on brand and quality fabrics for Lioness in range as well as out of house ranges.
1. Efficiently and accurately supplying fabric submissions to sales team to adhere to range timelines - adequate knowledge of fabric prices to source within price point.
2. Efficiently and accurately instruct factory to colour match to pantones or desired design colours.
- Sample Coordination – Full end to end samples development of Lioness new styles for selling, from Sample Request to continuous follow up with factory, problem solving through any delays or issues, until sample shipped and handed over ready for sale adhering to sampling deadlines and ensuring full set of samples ready for range selling.
2. Administration related to techpack and assisting Senior Garment Techs
- Sample Preparation and Coordination -
1. Receiving sample from factory and reviewing/processing to hand to Design team.
2. Preparing samples for sell ready and photoshoot ready, maintenance of sample room and coordinating samples with neighbouring teams.
You will Possess:
- Fashion Design tertiary education and atleast 2 years in a Garment Technician, Production Coordinator or Product Developer position.
- Mandarin Chinese (written and speaking) is essential.
- Excel Experience required, Techpack and Garment Construction knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical and solution focused skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal to negotiate with vendors.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail, within a fast paced environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, whilst being agile enough to adapt to changes in circumstances.
- Enthusiastic in collaboration and high team spirit.
- Possess a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to pre-empt and anticipate issues, ability to take initiative in problem-solving.
