Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate and organised Patient Service Assistants to join our healthcare team on a casual basis.

About The Role

In this role, you will be the backbone of our patient support operations, working alongside clinical and administrative staff to ensure every patient receives exceptional care and comfort. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a dynamic healthcare workplace.

Responsibilities





Assist clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care and support across various departmentsProvide safe and efficient patient transport using hospital-approved equipment and vehiclesMaintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in patient rooms and shared areas in accordance with infection control protocolsRespond promptly and empathetically to patient inquiries and requestsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient experiencesAdhere to all hospital safety procedures, manual handling protocols, and infection control standardsPerform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance duties as assignedDemonstrate flexibility and resilience when adapting to changing departmental needs and patient demands

Skills And Experience

Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety proceduresProven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teamExcellent time management and interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesCompassion and empathy for patients and their familiesPhysical capability to perform manual tasks and patient support duties
