Domville #3 Pty Ltd (part of the Ellerslie Farms Group) is an agribusiness that operates one of the largest poultry farms in Australia.

We employ over 500 people across our farming operations based at Millmerran, an hour west of Toowoomba in Queensland. Our operations are vertically integrated, covering the entire supply chain from chick rearing, stock feed milling, egg grading and poultry production. Our layer systems include Cage, Cage-free, Free Range and Organic. We have in-house service teams which coordinate bird vaccination, bird relocation, veterinary and nutrition services.

About the Role ...

The Supply Chain Analyst (Stores) will be required to optimise the availability, flow and cost of PPE, consumables and spare parts across farm stores and deliveries to sheds. Using demand, inventory, warehousing and transport data, the role pinpoints service risks, bottlenecks and cost drivers; recalibrates replenishment parameters (min/max, safety stock, reorder points); evaluates supplier and carrier performance; and refines routes and schedules to improve on‑time, in‑full outcomes and cost‑to‑serve. Salary - $80,000 plus superannuation, plus work vehicle.

Functions will include:

- Analyse end‑to‑end stores and delivery performance for PPE, consumables and spare parts; covering demand signals, inventory positions,



warehouse flows and transport lead times to identify bottlenecks, cost drivers and service risks, and develop evidence‑based recommendations.

- Design and periodically recalibrate replenishment parameters (minimum/maximum levels, safety stock, reorder points) to ensure timely supply to farms and departments and reducing obsolete or slow‑moving stock.

- Build and maintain supply‑chain performance reporting (e.g., OTIF/DIFOT, inventory turns, aged inventory, cost‑per‑delivery), communicate insights to stakeholders, and drive corrective actions to improve service and cost‑to‑serve.

- Evaluate supplier and carrier performance (lead‑time reliability, OTIF, delivery accuracy) and recommend corrective actions, alternative sources or revised service levels to strengthen supply assurance.

- Optimise delivery routes and schedules to farms and departments for cost, timeliness and reliability; manage related route activity including invoice receivals and shipment tracking where required.

- Map current stores processes (receipting, put‑away, picking, dispatch) and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to remove waste, streamline deliveries and standardise best practices.

- Prepare business cases and proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter workflows, refine role responsibilities and adjust system configurations (ERP), including plans to measure impact and benefits.

- Implement approved recommendations; policy changes, parameter updates, carrier switches, new picking rules and monitor outcomes against agreed KPIs, adjusting the operating model as necessary.





- Govern master data quality (item masters, pack sizes, supplier/carrier lead times, MOQ) and support enablement of digital tools (EDI and shipment tracking) to enhance execution and reporting.

- Facilitate cross‑functional alignment with stores, procurement, operations and finance on service levels, inventory targets and cost objectives; provide coaching to embed new processes and metrics.

- Conduct structured reviews of current systems and capabilities, identify improvement opportunities using recognised change/ continuous improvement methodologies, and advise stakeholders on recommended solutions.

- Coordinate change management and training to ensure adoption of recent procedures and sustain continuous‑improvement behaviours within the stores function.

Skills and experience

The successful application will need to have:

- Tertiary qualifications in the supply chain, logistics, business, or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.

- Experience in supply chain analysis, inventory management, procurement support, or operational planning.

- Strong analysis and problem-solving capabilities, with experience of interpreting data and converting this into actionable insight.

- Very good communication skills to communicate professionally with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

- Work independently and collaboratively, with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

- Proficient in ERP systems, inventory management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.

- Commitment to continuous improvement, organisational values and operational excellence.
