Join a leading Australian insurance organisation embarking on a major customer claims transformation initiative. This organisation is investing heavily in AI-enabled operational transformation to create a faster, simpler and more connected claims experience for both customers and employees. Working within a high-profile transformation program, you'll help drive delivery across multiple teams focused on modernising claims and customer service capabilities.
Your new role
As Scrum Master, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling successful delivery across an enterprise-scale transformation program. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Delivery Leads and business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring teams remain focused on delivering value.This is not a role for someone who simply facilitates ceremonies. We're looking for a proactive leader who can identify delivery risks before they emerge, challenge thinking constructively, remove blockers and keep teams aligned to program objectives.Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Coaching and supporting teams to embrace Agile principles and practices.
- Proactively identifying, managing and escalating risks, issues and dependencies.
- Working closely with Solution Architects, Data Scientists and technical specialists to understand delivery challenges and maintain momentum.
- Creating an environment of trust,
accountability and high performance.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.
- Tracking delivery progress and ensuring priorities remain aligned to transformation outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Scrum Master delivering complex technology or business transformation programs. Strong Agile delivery expertise with the ability to coach and influence diverse stakeholder groups. Exceptional communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills. The confidence to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify risks and dependencies early. Experience working within large enterprise environments. The ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain delivery momentum in a quick-paced environment. Experience within insurance, financial services or other heavily regulated industries. Exposure to AI, data, analytics or digital transformation initiatives. Relevant Agile certifications.
