About The Role As an Integration Technical Architect, you will provide technical leadership across enterprise integration platforms, helping design secure, resilient and scalable solutions. Working closely with architecture, engineering, cloud and business teams, you will guide API-led and event-driven delivery practices, strengthen platform standards and improve engineering productivity through automation. This role offers the opportunity to influence integration strategy, mentor engineers and support the adoption of modern cloud and AI-enabled technologies across a complex technology environment.

What You'll Do

Design scalable integration solutions across MuleSoft, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.

Define reusable integration patterns, API standards and engineering guardrails.

Drive API lifecycle practices including design, versioning, documentation and reuse.

Embed automated quality, security and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines.

Enable observability through monitoring, logging, dashboards and operational reporting.

Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements, manage risks and deliver technology outcomes.

Mentor engineers,



uplift integration engineering practices and promote adoption of standards, automation, DevOps and platform governance practices.

What You'll Bring

6+ years' experience in integration engineering or architecture, including 3+ years in architecture ownership, technical leadership or solution governance roles.

Experience designing AI-assisted or rule-based code review automation, engineering guardrails and quality controls.

Extensive experience with MuleSoft, including Mule 4, Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity, with the ability to design AI-ready integration patterns.

Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

Experience applying generative AI and automation tooling to accelerate integration delivery, including API specification generation, DataWeave transformation support, test creation, documentation, troubleshooting and developer productivity improvements.

Working knowledge of agentic AI integration concepts, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent-to-system interaction, agent-to-agent orchestration, tool discovery, controlled API invocation and governance of autonomous workflows.

Experience defining and implementing AI governance,



security and risk controls for integration solutions, including secure data access, prompt and tool-use guardrails, monitoring and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, mentoring support and strategic direction for integration and AI-enabled engineering initiatives.
