About the role
Glask Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Administrator to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based in office that plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our construction projects. As Project Administrator, you will be the backbone of our project teams, ensuring that all administrative processes run efficiently and that project documentation is maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential to our continued success and growth in the construction industry.
What you'll be doing
As Project Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining and organising project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and compliance records
2. Coordinating project communications between site teams, management, clients, and subcontractors
3. Scheduling and coordinating project meetings, including site meetings and progress reviews
4. Processing and managing project-related correspondence and documentation
5. Assisting with project budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and administrative cost management
6. Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
7. Supporting the Project Manager with administrative tasks and general office support
8. Preparing project reports, site summaries, and administrative documentation as required
9. Coordinating site access, inductions, and relevant site administration
10. Managing project filing systems and ensuring all documentation is properly archived
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
1. Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative role, ideally within the construction industry
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
particularly Excel and Word
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in document management and data entry
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to support team members
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
8. Professional demeanour and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
9. Knowledge of construction terminology and project management processes (preferred but not essential)
10. Relevant qualifications in administration or business studies (preferred)
