Job Description - Asphalt Technician

This role is physically demanding and requires a motivated person with a positive attitude. Some of the daily activities that you will be undertaking include;

Repair of potholes and patches in roads, driveways and car park asphalt.

Ensure workspace cleanliness upon completion of works.

Working safely, autonomously and unsupervised on a daily basis.

Protected and courteous operation of a vehicle.

Safety checks of vehicles and equipment.

Courteous and respectful communication with suppliers and clients on a daily basis.

Regular restocking of vehicle consumables.

Required Skills

Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.

Courteous and consistent communication skills.

Self motivation with a “go get em” attitude.

Attention to detail when completing tasks.





Cleanliness and maintenance of work spaces, vehicles and equipment.

Ability to recognise problems and solve them without third party intervention.

A reasonable level of fitness as a consistent level of activity is undertaken each day.

Experience

Experience in construction, manual labour and outdoor work is highly regarded.

Previous experience in the asphalt repair industry is not required for this role.

Education
Graduated high school or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
