About the Role
Blooms The Chemist is seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Salamander Bay, NSW. This is a full time, hands-on position where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to our local community.
Working closely with patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals, you'll provide high-quality, evidence-based advice and support to optimise patient outcomes and promote health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and provide counselling to patients
- Offer expert advice on the safe use of medications, including potential side effects and interactions
- Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and medication dispensing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and pharmacy procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to delivering evidence-based care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A patient-first approach and dedication to continuous professional development
