Description:
Position Overview
Reporting to the Head of P&C; Business Partnering, the People Partner will support and drive the effective delivery and transformation of HR operations and governance processes which enhance the employee experience across ANZ.
The People Partner will support the delivery of day-to-day HR related enquiries and will work collaboratively with the Talent & Workplace Experience teams to ensure the organisational culture is championed by all. The People Partner will be involved in HR Projects and assist to strategically drive the people and operational goals of the ELMO teams.
Key Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities of the People Partner includes but is not limited to:
Business Partnering
Contribute to support and provide advice on the delivery of the HR Strategy in line with business goals and objectives.
Ensure high quality delivery of HR advice & operational service to the workforce, dealing with escalations and issues in a prompt and timely manner with clear communication.
Foster collaborative relationships with management and employees to effect change and hold others accountable, working across the ELMO organisation to build best practice.
Operations & HRIS
Manage employee related documentation such as contracts, employee variation of employment letters.
Support the administration of human resource programs; remuneration, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance & productivity; values & recognition; restructure process; health safety & wellbeing.
Identify organisational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organisation's human resource information system (HRIS).
Assist in creating systems and reporting that integrates information from multiple data sources.
Oversee the management of the ELMO HRIS portal with the aim of 100% accuracy and high usage uptake.
Maintain and operationalise the HR dashboard and reporting framework, contributing to internal and external HR reporting.
Review ELMO HRIS usage and propose ‘fit for purpose’ solutions to enable enhanced delivery of HR processes to deliver business goals and internal customer needs.
Drive innovation from the user perspective to the Product team, to support commercial enhancement for our external customers of our Product solutions.
Rewards & Recognition
Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement and retention and reward strategies and regularly review to ensure efficiency.
Support the implementation of the annual remuneration review cycle and engagement surveys.
Employee Performance Management
Promote the program to upgrade people's performance across the ELMO Group.
Performance appraisals - education to managers.
Support in leadership development initiatives.
Retention
Support culture and engagement initiatives in collaboration with the Talent & Workplace Experience teams.
Onboarding & Offboarding
Regularly monitor, seek feedback and measure the effectiveness of onboarding and offboarding of employees, which provides a positive employee experience.
Policy, Compliance, ISO, Health & Safety
Ensure all HR activities across ANZ are following government regulations eg FWA, OHS, Workcover.
Provide People Operations Service delivery that fosters a culture of compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review, develop, and implement HR compliance frameworks, processes, and reporting systems.
Provide expert advice and support to ensure compliance with policies, legislation, and reporting requirements.
Monitor and ensure ELMO's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Contribute to the Health & Safety Committee and support actions in conjunction with the Experience & Facilities Lead.
Ensures compliance with ELMO’s information security privacy policies and procedures.
Projects
Support with roll out of People function projects and initiatives where needed e.g. Organisational Capability, Talent attraction, development.
Support decision making process in relation to improving overall ELMO employee experience for example, in matters relating to, building talent and capability, learning and development.
Positional Qualifications, Attributes and Skills:
At least five years of human resource management experience is required. HR or studies preferred, however not essential
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organisation and employees.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proven experience operating operationally and executing across a range of HR programs in a fast paced and changing environment.
Demonstrated experience in driving service excellence and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to interact, engage with and influence senior internal stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across function areas to achieve business outcomes.
Proficient with G-Suite/ Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn ELMO's HRIS
