Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our growing kitchen team in Dubbo, NSW. This is an

excellent opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who enjoys working in a quick-paced hospitality

environment while delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

●Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.

●Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness, quality, and consistency.

●Regulate and monitor the temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to ensure protected

and efficient food preparation.

●Season, portion, garnish, and plate meals to maintain presentation and quality standards.

●Store food appropriately in temperature-controlled facilities and ensure proper stock rotation.

●Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary requirements and customer preferences where required.

●Assist with menu planning, estimating food requirements,



and minimising food waste.

●Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness in accordance with Australian

regulations.

●Support the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required.

●Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Skills & Experience

●Relevant qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job

training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)

●Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen environment.

●Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices.

●Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

●Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.

●A positive attitude with a robust commitment to customer satisfaction.
