Shearwater, the Mullumbimby Steiner School is excited to be offering the position of Primary School Coordinator for a suitable person who shares the school’s values of connection, curiosity and becoming, and who is willing to bring a contemporary, inspired approach to working with colleagues and students in alignment with Steiner’s intention of the art of education based on spiritual freedom.
Our ideal candidate will bring the qualities and skills of creativitiy, collaboration, warmth, resourcefulness, professionalism and enthusiasm, and a commitment to Steiner’s indications of child development and social renewal.
The candidate will be an experienced Primary Teacher with a deep understanding of the developmental stages and educational needs of children, including an appreciation of particular learning styles as well as social and emotional needs, particularly as understood in a Steiner Primary School.
