ACW Property maintenance services, provides maintenance, repairs, and building services to domestic, property management and commercial clients. We offer a multi trade service with qualified tradesman. Our main work consists of painting, bathroom modifications, house renovations, outdoor entertaining areas and general building repairs as well as general maintenance for our contracted clients.

There are multiple positions available on ABN, for various sites across the Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

Positions are on ABN. Work available is 8 hrs per day/5 days per week.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent color matching, proficiency with hand tools, and understanding of plastering compounds and paint types.

Job Location: - Melbourne (various locations)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Carpentry: Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials; installing frameworks, doors, windows,



and fixtures; using hand and power tools safely; interpreting plans and specifications; and repairing or replacing damaged structural components.
- Plastering: Measuring, cutting, and installing plasterboard sheets; installing corner beads; applying coats of plaster to create smooth, durable surfaces; and repairing damaged plaster.
- Painting: Surface preparation (sanding, removing old paint, filling holes/cracks with putty/filler).
- Finishing: Applying primer, sealer, and multiple coats of paint, varnish, or stain to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Site Maintenance: Cleaning tools, maintaining a safe work setting, cleaning up work areas, and proper disposal of materials.
- Project Work: Reading blueprints or instructions, selecting materials, and working independently or with a team on residential or commercial projects

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience as a painter and plasterer, usually requiring trade qualifications or formal training.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent color matching, proficiency with hand tools, and understanding of plastering compounds and paint types.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work at heights (ladders/scaffolding) and lift heavy plasterboard sheets.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license, a police check, working with children’s card, white card/construction induction
