The Role

We’re searching for a Host Manager who knows how to work a crowd and work a network.

You’ll be the face of Kid Kyoto for our most important guests—corporate clients, VIPs, and high-value diners—driving bookings, building relationships, and making us the go-to spot for business lunches and premium dining.

If you know how to turn a handshake into a standing reservation, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Building real relationships with Sydney’s corporate crowd—this is your network to grow
- Actively bringing in new business, from client lunches to high-end dining occasions
- Maintaining and building on our VIP guest list of loyal regulars
- Delivering highly personalised service
- Acting as the key contact for VIP and corporate bookings
- Working with marketing and leadership to create events, experiences, and reasons to return
- Setting the tone on the floor—every guest, every time
- Leading and mentoring the hosting team to deliver consistently high-energy service
- Using guest feedback to refine and elevate the experience





What You Bring

- Proven experience in hospitality, guest relations, or client-facing roles
- Strong connections—or the confidence to build them quick—within corporate or professional circles
- A commercial mindset: you understand how relationships drive revenue
- Sharp communication skills and natural charisma
- Obsessive attention to detail when it comes to guest experience
- A proactive, outgoing personality—you don’t wait, you make things happen
