Elm Commercial Joinery is a growing Melbourne-based commercial joinery company delivering high-quality joinery solutions across office fit-outs, education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation and successful delivery of our commercial joinery projects.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for managing multiple commercial joinery installation projects across Melbourne, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial joinery installation projects from commencement to completion.
- Coordinate installers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with builders, project managers, site supervisors and clients.
- Plan installation sequences and monitor project progress.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S; requirements and site regulations.
- Resolve site issues quickly and professionally.
- Attend site meetings and prepare progress updates.
- Coordinate deliveries and site logistics.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial joinery installation or site management.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes.
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Current White Card.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with Tier 1, Tier 2 or commercial builders is highly regarded.
Desirable
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or Carpentry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- First Aid certification.
