About your role
As a Clinical Nurse within the Kidney Dialysis Unit, you'll provide advanced clinical care and leadership for patients receiving maintenance haemodialysis.
In this role you will:
Deliver advanced haemodialysis nursing care for patients with complex renal conditions.
Lead clinical decision-making and coordinate patient-centred care across the unit.
Support and mentor nursing staff, students and multidisciplinary team members.
Monitor and manage haemodialysis access, escalating concerns and coordinating referrals.
Drive quality improvement, clinical audits and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Assist with shift coordination and provide operational leadership when required.
Promote a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous professional development.
Contribute to education, research and innovation within the renal service.
About you
You're an experienced renal nurse who combines advanced clinical expertise with strong leadership skills. You enjoy mentoring others, thrive in a specialised setting, and are passionate about improving the lives of patients receiving ongoing dialysis treatment.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in nephrology and haemodialysis nursing.
Advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership, communication and team coordination abilities.
Experience delivering evidence-based, person-centred care.
Ability to support education, mentoring and clinical development of others.
Commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage complex clinical workloads.
