URGENT START: Disability Support Worker (Casual / Part-Time / Contract) – South Granville

Able Together Australia is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Disability Support Worker for an immediate start in South Granville starting tomorrow.

We offer versatile engagement types (Casual, Part-Time, or Independent Contract) to suit your work preferences, along with competitive hourly pay rates.

Pay Rates

- Weekdays (Mon & Thu): $40.00 / hour

Shift Details & Schedule

- Monday: 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM (1 hr – Personal Care)
- Thursday:
- 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM (1 hr – Personal Care)
- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM (1.5 hrs – Domestic Assistance & Shopping)

Total Hours: ~5.5 hours/week across 4 days (Ideal for local support workers looking to supplement their existing schedule!).

Key Responsibilities

- Personal Care (6:30 AM Shifts): Providing dignified personal hygiene assistance, specifically including showering and toileting.
- Pressure Care: Monitoring, implementing, and supporting proper pressure care management protocols.




- Domestic Assistance & Community Access (Thursday 1:00 PM): Assisting with grocery shopping, running errands, and light household chores.
- Delivering respectful, high-quality, person-centered support.

Essential Requirements

- Pressure Care Training (Must be trained/experienced in pressure care management)
- Proven experience in Personal Care (specifically showering and toileting)
- Active NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (essential for Thursday shopping/errands)
- Right to work in Australia
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and clear communication
