Summary

Motto Motto Japanese Kitchen Gasworks is looking for a Store Manager with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and a relevant Diploma.

This role reports directly to Director.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Manage the product range, stock levels and service standards to maintain exceptional food quality and guest experience across all channels.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies, control food costs (COGS) and manage pricing to optimise revenue and profitability of the restaurant.
- Engage directly with guests on the floor and at the POS, providing product advice and resolving feedback promptly to exceed expectations.
- Monitor, record and control accurate stock levels, inventory movements, wastage and daily financial transactions through the relevant systems.
- Plan and manage the operational budget, including labour costs (wages), cost of goods and key financial KPIs (ATV, SPG, COGS).
- Actively promote and communicate new products, limited-time offers and brand values (Motto Motto Grade, Motto means more) to guests.
- Recruit, train, roster and supervise team members to ensure high performance and strong team engagement.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety (OH&S;)



regulations across all operations.
- Manage and continuously improve speed of service, product quality and cleanliness standards in line with company operating procedures.
- Use Power BI and operational systems daily to track, analyse and improve key performance indicators on a daily and weekly basis.
- Conduct regular stocktakes, identify and address stock leakage issues, and report stock availability or quality concerns to the supply chain team.
- Foster a safe and inspiring work environment by coaching team members daily, conducting performance reviews and recognising achievements.
