Venue Manager – Northcote

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager to join our team and oversee our vibrant pub-style venue in Northcote.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced, community-focused environment, knows how to deliver a great customer experience, and has a passion for creating a welcoming and lively venue.

About the Role

- Lead day-to-day bar operations across our Northcote venue
- Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive team culture
- Deliver excellent customer service and set the standard for the team
- Assisting with overseeing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
- Assisting driving sales, manage wage forecasting
- Ensure compliance with RSA, OH&S;, and liquor licence requirements
- Collaborate with venue management on events, promotions, and customer experience

About You

- Previous experience in a Venue manager or senior supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team




- A hands-on operator who leads by example
- Solid knowledge of bar operations, stock control, and cost management
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Current RSA certificate (mandatory)
- Flexibility to work evenings, Public Holidays and weekends as required
