We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team based in Mackay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock and inventory records while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.

The Role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by maintaining stock accuracy, processing inventory, and supporting daily administrative and warehouse functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and dispatching stock
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Conducting regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Assisting with inventory control and stock replenishment
- Processing invoices and delivery documentation
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and protected warehouse environment
- Supporting the wider operations team as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse or stores experience
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- Experience processing invoices and delivery paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems (desirable)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude
