Summary

Sienna Stone Creations is seeking to add a skilled Stonemason to their highly regarded and innovative team based in Smithfield, NSW. Sienna Stone has redefined artisanal stonework by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design principles. As a premium end-to end

stone solutions provider, we pride ourselves on sourcing the highest-grade materials and delivering

bespoke finishes that elevate the living standards of each space.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Cut and shape natural and engineered stone for high-end residential applications
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and job specifications with precision
- Construct and install stone benchtops, splashbacks and feature walls
- Use both hand tools and specialised machinery for cutting and polishing
- Conduct on-site installations in accordance with safety and design requirements
- Collaborate with designers and clients to realise bespoke surface finishes
- Repair and maintain existing stone features as needed
- Ensure quality control from material selection to final installation
- Mix and apply mortar, epoxy, and other bonding agents where applicable
- Seal stone surfaces and ensure correct waterproofing procedures are followed
- Lay out and mark cutting lines based on client and project requirements
- Transport and handle delicate stone materials with care and precision
- Liaise with architects, engineers and trades for coordinated project delivery




- Maintain tools and workshop areas in accordance with safety guidelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement in installation methods and material use

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

- Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent qualification with proven on-site training
- Minimum of two years full-time experience working with natural and engineered stone
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans
- Solid hands-on experience using stone-cutting tools and polishing machinery
- Demonstrated ability to install custom stone pieces with a high level of finish
- Strong understanding of site safety, manual handling and WHS protocols
- Capacity to liaise effectively with designers, clients and other trades on-site
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
