Our client is a leading provider of sleep and respiratory healthcare solutions, dedicated to helping patients improve their quality of life through effective treatment and ongoing support.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a customer-focused CPAP Therapy Consultant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service, retail, healthcare, or medical device background who is passionate about making a genuine difference in people's lives.
About the Role
As a CPAP Therapy Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting patients diagnosed with sleep apnea by guiding them through their therapy journey, from initial equipment setup through to ongoing treatment support.
This position combines customer service, patient education, sales, administration, and clinic operations in a rewarding healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Therapy Support
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients both in clinic and over the phone.
- Assist patients with CPAP equipment setup and mask fitting in accordance with prescribed therapy requirements.
- Educate patients on the safe and effective use of their equipment.
- Provide ongoing coaching, support, and troubleshooting to help patients achieve successful therapy outcomes.
- Respond to patient enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with referring healthcare professionals when required.
- Assist with therapy follow-up activities and patient engagement programs.
Sales & Customer Solutions
- Identify patient needs and recommend suitable products, accessories, and therapy solutions.
- Promote products and services in line with company processes and clinical requirements.
- Conduct follow-up calls to support patient compliance and enhance therapy success.
- Assist in achieving clinic sales objectives while maintaining a patient-centred approach.
- Maintain professional product displays and ensure the clinic environment is well presented.
Administration & Operations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, orders, and customer transactions.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to support clinic operations.
- Coordinate equipment servicing, repairs, and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality, privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support the day-to-day operational requirements of the clinic.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, healthcare support, medical administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- The ability to build rapport and work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new software platforms.
- Experience within sleep health, respiratory care, medical devices, allied health, or healthcare services will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
