The Terrace Eye Centre is a well-established specialist ophthalmology practice with 10 doctors offering complimentary specialisms and we are seeking a Registered Nurse.

You will work closely with the doctors providing clinical assistance as they require. You must have current RN registration with AHPRA to be considered for this role. Previous experience in and ophthalmology setting as well as current cannulation preferred.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited too)

- Taking patient history, vision testing and insertion of eye drops
- Assistance with minor procedures
- Undertaking fluorescein angiography
- Performing clinical testing on patients including the use of OCT, Ascan, Fundus Camera, Bscan and Visual Fields




- Educating patients on various procedures and treatments

Our practice is a ‘paperless practice’ so a good knowledge and understanding of computers and software packages is desirable.

This position is Monday to Friday only. Hours may be rostered between 7:15am and 5.30pm.
