TAH Wholesale Pty. Ltd. T/a Smimac Foodservices is currently in search of a highly experienced Delivery Truck Driver to join our team.
This opportunity is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per annum, in addition to super. The candidate selected for this role must be ready to commit to a two-year contract, as we are seeking individuals who are dedicated to long-term employment with our company.

As the chosen candidate, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. It is crucial that you possess excellent communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to perform thorough vehicle checks.

Job Title:

· Truck Driver

Duties:

· Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety issues and mechanical items and perform preventative maintenance.

· Collect and verify delivery instructions.

· Carefully manoeuvre the vehicle into positions for effective loading and unloading.

· Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.





- Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations during loading and unloading operations.

· Use appropriate equipment such as dividers, bins, or securing mechanisms to organise and secure the load to ensure that the goods remain in optimal condition throughout their storage and transportation journey.

· Document and log driving hours, work/rest periods, and kilometres, while retaining fuel and other expense receipts.

· Report any defects, accidents, or regulatory violations.

· Register all the information to track each stage of the loading and unloading process.

· Adhere to truck driving regulations, including size, weight distribution, route restrictions, parking, and break times, as well as all company policies and procedures.

Qualification:

· Valid Open HR License

· At least 2 years of experience in a related field

· Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred

· Time-management skills and the ability to meet the deadlines.

Salary:

· $60,000 - $70,000 + Super

Working Condition:

· Full Time / 38 hours per week
