The Role
As a Food Services Attendant, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, home-like environment for our residents.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll deliver nutritious meals and refreshments in accordance with residents' individual care plans while ensuring exceptional food service and maintaining clean, safe kitchenette areas. Your attention to detail and friendly approach will help make every dining experience enjoyable and meaningful.
What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who:
- Enjoys working with older people and provides compassionate, respectful support.
- Can confidently work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Communicates effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
- Demonstrates sound computer skills and can use workplace systems effectively.
- Is flexible, caring, patient and committed to continuous learning.
- Embraces MiCare's person-centred approach and the 10 Principles of the Eden Alternative.
- Works respectfully within a culturally diverse environment.
Qualifications
- Certificate I in Food Handling/ Safety or equivalent)
