We welcome both Part-Time and Full-Time applications.
We're looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist / Administrator with a minimum of 6 months' Australian dental reception experience to join our friendly and supportive team in the heart of Surry Hills.
This is primarily a reception and administration role, with occasional chairside dental assisting when required. Previous dental assisting experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to train the right person who is enthusiastic and willing to learn.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming experience from the moment they arrive
- Managing appointments and maintaining an efficient appointment schedule
- Answering phone and email enquiries professionally
- Processing payments, health fund claims and general administration
- Assisting with treatment coordination and patient communication
- Providing chairside assistance when required (or learning these skills if you are new to assisting)
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining high infection control standards
- Sterilisation and instrument processing
- Stock ordering and inventory management
- Working collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure each day runs smoothly
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' recent Australian dental reception experience (essential)
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Solid computer skills (D4W experience is highly regarded)
- Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with patients, both over the phone and in person
- Professional presentation and a friendly, patient-focused manner
Previous chairside dental assisting experience is highly regarded but not essential. We are happy to train the right person who is keen to develop these skills.
