Kagoshima Master is one of Sydney’s leading Japanese Yakiniku restaurants, dedicated to serving premium Wagyu, fresh seafood, and authentic Japanese cuisine. We are currently looking for an experienced Sashimi Chef to join our team at our Crows Nest restaurant.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and present high-quality sashimi and other raw seafood dishes.
* Ensure all seafood is handled, stored, and prepared according to food safety standards.
* Maintain consistency, freshness, and presentation of every dish.
* Assist with stock management and quality control.
* Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Sashimi or Sushi Chef.
* Excellent knife skills and knowledge of seafood preparation.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and passionate about Japanese cuisine.
