Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Roster and Administration Clerk to join our operations team. This is a key role responsible for coordinating staff rosters across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community services while providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation.

Applicants must have at least six months' experience in roster coordination or workforce scheduling within the disability, community services or health sector. Previous experience working within the NDIS setting is essential.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Rostering & Coordination
- Create and maintain staff rosters across 24/7 SIL supports
- Fill shift vacancies, including last-minute changes
- Ensure appropriate staff skill mix and continuity of supports
- Manage staff availability and communicate roster updates
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain employee compliance records, including NDIS Worker Screening Checks, Working With Children Checks, qualifications and mandatory training.
- Monitor upcoming compliance expiries and coordinate timely renewals.
- Ensure personnel records remain accurate, complete and audit-ready.
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate workforce and participant data within Vertex360 or similar workforce management systems.
- Ensure roster information supports accurate payroll and participant billing.
- Assist with reporting and data analysis as required.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum six months' experience in rostering or workforce scheduling.
- Previous experience within the NDIS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (particularly Outlook and Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Knowledge of NDIS Pricing Arrangements and SCHADS Award principles.
Desirable
- Experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Knowledge of the NDIS environment and compliance requirements
- Experience using Vertex360 or similar systems
- Knowledge of the SCHADS award
