Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Property Lawyer role based in Gordon, NSW. The Property Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of property matters, including residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, easements, contracts for sale, and general property transactions.
Day-to‑day responsibilities include advising clients on property law issues, drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, conducting due diligence and property‑related research, and liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to progress matters efficiently.

The role also involves negotiating terms, identifying and managing risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation,



and representing clients in disputes related to property when required. The successful candidate will contribute to the firm’s commitment to high service standards and clear communication, supporting a collaborative and professional team environment.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years post‑admission experience as a lawyer, with a strong focus on property law and conveyancing.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property contracts, leases, and related documentation.
- Solid knowledge of NSW property legislation, land title systems, and regulatory requirements relevant to residential and commercial transactions.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail across multiple matters.
- Robust client communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and build long‑term client relationships.
- Competence in using legal practice management software and standard office applications, with willingness to adopt new tools and processes.
- Experience in dispute resolution and, where necessary, litigation relating to property matters is highly regarded.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent, current NSW practising certificate, and ongoing commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative working style aligned with a client‑focused practice.
