Purpose

As a Public Area Cleaner, you are an important part of our Housekeeping crew, ensuring our shared spaces are clean and well‐maintained. You will work both independently and as part of a team, and enjoy interacting with guests to meet their needs.

The Role

- Casual loading on all hourly rates. Base rate $25.85; with loadings: Monday‐Friday $32.31 ph, Saturday $38.78 ph, Sunday $45.24 ph, Public Holidays $64.63 ph.
- Adult wages for all team members 16 years and above.
- Supportive and fun team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

- Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out.
- Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor public areas, including pool, gym, and shared bathrooms, meeting high standards.
- Support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed.
- Handle specialised equipment and chemicals safely.
- Assist guests with inquiries and security matters,



collaborating with other departments.
- Report maintenance or guest service issues promptly.

Skills And Experience

- Previous experience in a similar role (cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus.
- Warm and welcoming communication style.
- Attention to detail, efficient time management, and pride in tasks.
- Adaptability and physical fitness for indoor and outdoor work.
- Team collaboration across diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility for a rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays.
