The role and what we are looking for

This is a full project leadership role on a significant Urban Development project 30 Minutes south of Mackay. The Project Manager owns the complete delivery lifecycle, from early bulk earthworks through to practical completion, with direct accountability for safety, programme, commercial performance and client relationships.

The project involves self-performed bulk earthworks, sewer and water reticulation, stormwater infrastructure, road construction and staged subdivision delivery.

What you will be doing:

- Leading project delivery across all stages, managing programme, cost and quality from mobilisation to handover
- Managing a multidisciplinary team of Project Engineers, Supervisors and site crews
- Owning project budgets, monthly financial reporting, forecasting and margin performance
- Managing subcontract procurement, commercial negotiations, variations and claims
- Building and maintaining relationships with the developer, consultants and relevant authorities
- Identifying and resolving project risks early, in line with Bild Group's safety, environmental and quality systems

What you will need:

- Proven delivery experience on residential subdivisions and multi-stage land development projects
- Demonstrated commercial management capability, including contract administration, financial reporting and variation management
- Experience leading Project Engineers and Supervisors on civil construction projects
- Civil Engineering degree (Bachelor level)
- Current driver's licence and permanent Australian work rights

Useful, but not essential:

- RPEQ or CPEng registration
- Experience on projects valued between $10M and $100M+
- Leadership qualifications or First Aid
