This is a Permanent Full Time Position at 76 hrs per fortnight
Position Profile: The Nurse Manager is responsible for theeffective and efficient operational management of Gnowangerup Hospital including care, assessment, planning, case management anddelivery of health care to complex clients. Also provides aspecialist clinical consultant and educational service to clients,carers and primary health care providers.
The occupant of this positionis required to demonstrate a positive commitment to modelling ourorganisational values, safety and quality improvement and the Codeof Conduct in all aspects of their employment. Compliance with allrelevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation including Confidentiality and Work Health and Safety policies ismandatory.

Clinical Leadershipand Expertise
Provides visible clinicalleadership within a rural health service environment, usingadvanced nursing expertise and sound professional judgement tosupport safe, consumer-centred care, manage complex clinicalsituations and lead service improvements across acute,
emergencyand residential aged care settings.
Operational and Resource Management
Leads and manages hospitaloperations by effectively planning, prioritising and coordinatingworkforce, financial, equipment and service resources to achievequality patient outcomes, operational performance targets andsustainable service delivery.
People Leadership and Workforce Capability
Builds a positive andaccountable team culture through effective people leadership,communication and relationship management, including developingstaff capability, managing performance, resolving conflict andfostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
Governance and Service Improvement
Applies contemporary clinicalgovernance, quality improvement and risk management principles tomonitor performance, manage incidents and complaints, ensurecompliance with relevant legislation and standards, and drivecontinuous improvement in patient care and organisationaloutcomes.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Utilises digital systems,clinical information and performance data to supportdecision-making, operational reporting, service planning andeffective communication across a geographically dispersed ruralhealth service.
