Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead to join their technology team in Galway. This is based onsite in Galway 5 days a week.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of Java-based solutions, ensuring technical excellence, and driving innovation within the team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software that meets business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Java development projects and providing technical guidance to development teams.
- Collaborating with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical solutions.
- Mentoring and supporting team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Participating in code reviews and design discussions to improve overall software quality.
The ideal candidate will have 10 years plus experience in Java development, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions in a rapid-paced environment.
