About the Role

WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant / Forklift Operator to support an upcoming modular data centre project. This role is expected to run for approximately 23 weeks, with the potential for extension, and will involve assisting tradespeople with the assembly of modular units, operating a forklift, and supporting general workshop operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment throughout the workshop.

Assist tradespeople with the assembly and fabrication of modular data centre units.

Load, unload and transport materials as required.

Perform general Trade Assistant and labouring duties.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.





Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

Current LF Forklift Licence Essential.

Current Driver's Licence Essential.

Previous experience operating a forklift in a workshop or industrial environment.

Previous Trade Assistant or labouring experience highly regarded.

Experience within fabrication, manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.

Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
