Heavy Diesel Mechanic

- $65.95 per hour plus penalties
- Two-week casual assignment with immediate start
- Monday to Friday (Potential Saturday work not guaranteed)

WorkPac are seeking an individual that is diligent, reliable and self-driven. Capable of collaborating in a team environment, working with minimal supervision, and adhering to deadlines.

About Our Client

Originated in 1938, our client is a construction equipment supplier providing equipment sales and hire, parts and services, cranes, heavy lifting and & specialised transport, and engineering solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance on all-terrain cranes, trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and hydraulic repairs.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns both in the yard and on-site.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Assist with general workshop and yard duties.
- Travel to customer sites as required.

What You Will Need

- Trade qualified as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in heavy mechanical and hydraulic systems with strong diagnostic skills.




- Previous experience in mining, heavy haulage, equipment hire, or similar industry.
- Current Drivers Licence (HR preferred)
- Licence to Perform High Risk Work Forklift (LF) (Dogman/Rigger are highly desirable)
