About Our Client

Our client is a long-established Australian civil, structural and mechanical engineering and construction contractor with more than 50 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects. It works closely with government and industry partners across Queensland and beyond, combining strong technical capability with in-house plant, experienced personnel, and proven project delivery systems. With a focus on safety, innovation, and reliable execution, our client has built a reputation for delivering infrastructure that supports community development and long-term economic growth.

They are looking for a skilled labourer to join their team in North Maclean.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Skilled Civil Labourer you will be required to work 9-10 hours days, Monday to Friday, commencing at 6.30am. Daily duties may include;

- Carrying out general labouring duties to support civil construction and landscaping crews
- Assisting with the installation of subsoil drainage systems and stormwater infrastructure
- Installing kerbing, pathways, edging and associated civil infrastructure around sporting facilities
- Spreading, levelling and compacting soil, gravel and other construction materials
- Assisting with turf preparation, topsoiling and sports field establishment works
- Installing irrigation systems, pits, pipework and associated services




- Supporting plant operators with excavation, trenching and backfilling activities
- Assisting with concrete works including footpaths, slabs, kerbing and minor structures

What is Required

- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- White construction card
- Operating Ticket + experience (Highly desirable) will incur higher pay rate
- Previous experience on earthworks or subdivision projects
- Previous concreting experience (desirable not essential)
- Physically fit
