This role involves precision welding of stainless steel, aluminium, and other alloys, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on various metals including stainless steel and aluminium
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld procedures
- Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, and cleaning prior to welding
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper operation
- Follow workplace health & safety (WHS)
policies and procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with fabricators, supervisors, and production teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with thin gauge and precision welding preferred
- High attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Qualifications & Licences
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade) preferred
- Welding certifications highly regarded
