The Emerald Tree team is on the search for an AMAZING mental health therapist to join our psychological wellbeing & EAP health clinic.

Positions available:

Permanent part-time 2 days (Thursday, Friday or Saturday) with the possibility of an additional day in March.

The right applicant will have:

Tertiary qualifications and APHRA registration with significant counselling experience and understand fee for service roles. Must have the ability to obtain a Medicare provider number.

Willingness to maintain high professional standards, networking and actively participate in the generation of the role.

Effective time prioritisation and ability to take direction and supervision.

Employment:

You can choose between award or contract terms (to be discussed in the face-to-face interviews) .

In accordance with the award, this position is offered starting at -Health Professional Employee level 3 - pay point 3, (we pay above this award rate) @ $115,000 (pro-rata).

OR:

Under contract employment (own ABN).

Selection criteria:

Police, NDIS workers screening check and working with children's check (or willingness to obtain these).

3 years Counselling experience (not suitable to new graduates).

Full registration with your professional body (APHRA).

Eligibility for Medicare provider number is essential.

Ability to manage administrative and documentation requirements. As this role requires report writing and documentation, you will need a firm grasp of English and computer-based aptitude.

Demonstrated commitment to professional development.

Your primary role will be seeing counselling clients for therapeutic interventions in our beautiful office in Geelong West.
