Yaunati is currently seeking 20+ experienced Abrasive Blasters, Industrial Painters and Brush/Roll Painters for upcoming FIFO project work across the Pilbara, Northern Territory and regional WA.
This is an excellent opportunity to join well-established contractors working across major mining, industrial and infrastructure projects, with the possibility of extension for high-performing candidates.
About the Role
- 2:1 FIFO rosters
- 12-hour shifts
- 6-month project work with possibility of extension
- Competitive hourly rates of $65–$72/hr, depending on experience
- Work across mining infrastructure, structural steel, fixed plant and industrial assets
- Abrasive blasting, spray painting, brush and roller application work available depending on experience
General Requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of working 12-hour shifts
- Willing to complete pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol screening
- Current Australian working rights
Essential Requirements
- Experience with abrasive blasting, surface preparation, protective coatings, industrial painting or brush and roller application
- Experience working within mining, shutdown, industrial or heavy construction environments
- Construction White Card
- Current Working at Heights
- Current Confined Space
- EWP Licence
Highly Regarded
- Protective coatings experience
- Airless spray application experience
- Brush and roller application experience
- Mine site experience
- HR Licence
- Forklift or other relevant high-risk licences
