Quirindi Care Services: Quirindi Care Services is a trusted provider of aged care with 68 residential beds, offering a range of options including long-term residential care, independent living units, and short-term respite or palliative care. The Role: Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as cooking, catering, cleaning and laundry services. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff contributing the optimisation of resident choice and essentially creating a solid sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our resident’s quality of life.

What You Will Do

Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinksAssisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen dutiesDistribution of meals to residents & dining room servicesAll aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facilityCompleting required documentation and reportingEnsure handwashing supplies are available and replenishedContribute to an effective laundry service including item checking & labelling

What you will bring:

Currently hold a NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)



– MANDATORY - https://www.workerscreening.qld.gov.au/Valid Working rights in Australia - MANDATORYHospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion and EmpathyAn understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)
