ROLE

Full-time, based in Adelaide CBD with occasional regional and out-of-hours work required.

Are you passionate about supporting tourism businesses to lift standards, build capability and strengthen their professionalism? TiCSA is seeking an Industry Programs Coordinator to lead the delivery and growth of our Quality Tourism Accreditation programs across South Australia.

This role is central to supporting tourism operators through nationally recognised accreditation programs, strengthening industry capability and reinforcing the value of TiCSA membership. It suits someone who enjoys working directly with businesses, managing programs end-to-end and representing the industry with credibility and confidence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate and deliver TiCSA’s accreditation programs under the Quality Tourism Framework, including Quality Tourism Accredited Business, Star Ratings, Visitor Information Centres, Camps and specialist programs

- Mentor and audit tourism businesses throughout the accreditation and annual renewal process

- Manage accreditation systems and affiliated platforms, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement

- Lead delivery of a successful annual renewal process, including streamlining systems and processes

- Design and implement communication and marketing initiatives to grow program participation and achieve KPIs

- Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism businesses, regional tourism organisations and local government

- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow accreditation uptake across South Australia

- Represent TiCSA at workshops, industry events and engagement sessions

- Train and support internal team members involved in accreditation site visits

- Monitor program performance and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders

- Manage program budgets and contribute to achieving financial and non-financial targets





- Attend national meetings and collaborate with interstate Tourism Industry Councils to support continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an capable and approachable professional who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You’ll bring:

- Demonstrated experience in program delivery, industry engagement or business support

- Strong understanding of tourism and the South Australian tourism industry

- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills

- A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Confidence leading conversations, influencing outcomes and negotiating effectively.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital tools.

- A proactive and flexible approach, with a ‘team first’ mindset.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Tertiary qualification in Tourism, Business or a related discipline

- Experience working with accreditation, compliance or quality frameworks

- CMS and/or CRM experience

- Experience working in a not-for-profit or membership-based organisation

- Understanding of the South Australian tourism industry.
