Casual Relief Cleaners – School Site | Mount Barker & Strathalbyn

We are seeking reliable and flexible Cleaners to join our Casual Relief Pool. This role involves working across two school sites located in Mount Barker and Strathalbyn. As shifts may be allocated at either location, reliable transport and the ability to travel between both sites are essential.

These are casual, as-needed roles — you will be contacted to fill shifts on short notice when our regular staff are unavailable. You must be available and willing to step in at last minute, so adaptable availability across the week is essential.

This is a qualified, community-focused environment where you'll help maintain clean, safe and welcoming spaces for students, staff and visitors.

Areas You'll Maintain Include

Classrooms and office spacesStaff rooms and kitchen areasAmenities and bathroomsHallways, entryways and common areasOutdoor areas as required

Daily Duties May Include

Vacuuming,



mopping and dustingCleaning amenities and shared spacesRubbish removal and restocking consumablesSanitising high-touch surfacesMaintaining cleanliness standards across the site

Requirements

Flexible availability — must be able to accept last-minute shift requestsAt least 1 year of cleaning experienceSchool cleaning or housekeeping experience preferredWorking With Children Check (required)Police Check required (or willing to obtain)Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work independentlyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
