Due to sustained and projected long-term growth, we have a fantastic newly created opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our expanding Finance team in our Leederville office. This position will play a key role supporting the Financial Controller.
This is a full-time, office-based role that is best suited for someone who has previously worked in a complex group environment with an in-depth understanding of intercompany transactions and consolidations. You will be an effective communicator, hands-on, detail oriented and want to understand how things work. If you are comfortable with complexity, problem-solving, eager to learn and want to build your career, this role is perfect for you!

What you'll be doing:
- Preparation of end of month reconciliations, consolidations and reporting
- Preparation of end of financial year reporting including financial statements and tax returns
- Preparation of Board packs
- Management of loan schedules
- Preparation and presentation of variance reporting to operational managers
- Assist with the budgeting process
- Preparation, review and lodgement of all compliances
- Management of the Banking platform
- Act as a key liaison between the Bank and external Tax Advisors
- Processing transactional work if required
- Ad-hoc reporting and duties as required
About you
- Degree qualified in Accounting
- Minimum 7years’ relevant proven experience
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles
- Robust communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Proficient with MYOB & XERO
