APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a leading seafood processing facility based in Canning Vale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced, fresh food manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure the timely processing and supply of products in line with customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity. This role is critical in optimising efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting end-to-end supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to ensure material availability
- Schedule production runs to meet customer delivery timelines
- Monitor production performance, yields, and throughput
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records
- Liaise with key stakeholders across Processing, QA, Dispatch, and Sales




- Communicate production updates and priorities to relevant teams

About You

- Experience in Production Planning within food manufacturing (fresh food highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
