TRADE QUALIFIED RIGGERS (ALL LEVELS)

We are currently seeking Trade Qualified Riggers (all levels of experience) for an upcoming dragline shutdown in Kingaroy running through until 6th June. This is a shutdown-based role supporting major maintenance works on dragline equipment within a mining workplace. Candidates must be safety-focused, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced shutdown setting.

Rates & Conditions

- $51 – $67 per hour (based on experience)
- Roster: 6:3 Rotating Day/Night Shift
- Accommodation and meals provided

Mandatory Requirements

- Trade Qualified Rigger
- Current S11 Surface Mining Induction
- Valid Coal Board Medical
- Ability to mobilise immediately

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Rigging and lifting operations on dragline components and associated structures




- Assisting with dragline shutdown maintenance activities including structural and mechanical works
- Supporting installation and removal of major components such as pins, ropes, and assemblies
- Working with cranes, lifting gear, chain blocks, and hoisting equipment
- Assisting mechanical trades including fitters and boilermakers during shutdown works
- Carrying out work in accordance with site safety systems, procedures, and SWMS
