Job description

This service provides state-wide clinical coordination, retrieval and critical care services for inter hospital transfers.We are currently seeking applications from Advanced Trainees / Senior Registrars or Fellows in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthesia or Intensive Care who are interested in developing or furthering their skills in retrieval medicine.

The positions on offer are full time, fixed term appointments for 6 months and with start dates in August 2026/Feb 2027.
For applicants at Fellow level or established senior registrars, the position will also provide access to clinical governance activity, and to responsibility in the areas of quality improvement, training and education.

Successful applicants will be legally qualified medical practitioners registered in Victoria,



possessing appropriate medical qualifications (MBBS or equivalent) and will have completed or be currently completing advanced training with ACEM, ANZCA or CICM. Advanced trainees with ACCRM or RACGP may be considered on a case-by-case basis, as will applicants with relevant overseas training or experience.
