Remedial Massage Therapist | Wynnum | Work Alongside Experienced Physiotherapists

Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy is looking for a remedial massage therapist to join our friendly team in Wynnum.

This is a contractor role, starting with a Wednesday, Friday and Saturday roster. There may be opportunity to grow the role further if it suits both you and the clinic.

You will be joining an established remedial massage team within a long-running allied health clinic, working closely with experienced physiotherapists, massage therapists and supportive reception staff.

About the role

This role is well suited to a remedial massage therapist who enjoys working as part of a clinical team, rather than working alone.

Many clients are referred internally by our physiotherapists for soft tissue treatment, recovery support, maintenance care and help with ongoing muscle tension or stiffness. You will have the opportunity to work alongside physios, understand the broader goals of a client’s care, and provide massage treatment that complements their overall management.

You will see a diverse mix of clients needing help with:

Neck and shoulder tension
Back, hip and leg tightness
Sports and training recovery
Desk-related aches and stiffness
General muscle tightness
Ongoing soft tissue care
Maintenance massage and recovery support

This is a clinical remedial massage role within a physiotherapy clinic, rather than a day spa setting.

About you

You are a qualified remedial massage therapist who is reliable, friendly and enjoys helping people feel and move better.

You communicate clearly, make clients feel comfortable and take pride in providing thoughtful, targeted hands-on treatment.

You enjoy being part of a team, are open to working alongside physiotherapists, and understand the value of good communication when clients are receiving care from more than one practitioner.

Experience is valued, but we are also happy to hear from the right person with a great attitude who is keen to grow in a supportive clinic.
