Parts Interpreter

McIntosh & Son, Esperance are seeking a Parts Interpreter to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated person with an eye for detail, who is friendly, systematic and driven by achieving results to support our fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs
- Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
- Assist with merchandising displays
- Participate in stocktakes
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Seasonal Weekends & on-call roster

What you'll bring to the role

- Ability to work seasonal weekends and outside normal hours during peak seasons
- Minimum of 2+year's experience in similar role




- Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek new parts sales opportunities
- A supportive team player with a can-do attitude
- Ability to learn and adapt to recent systems and technology
- Previous experience arranging freight and transport
- Proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to interpret a technical diagram is desired
- While familiarity with agricultural machinery is desirable, a fast learner with enthusiasm for team-work and sales will be looked upon favourably
